Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kairos application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not Medical Advice

Kairos is a health-tracking and decision-support tool. It provides information and insights to help you understand your health over time, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the Service. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Your Care Team

If you access Kairos through an invitation from The Bone Health Clinic or another clinical partner, your account may be linked to that care relationship so you can share summaries and signals with your care team. Your clinical care remains the responsibility of your licensed providers; Kairos supports, but does not replace, that care.

Messaging and Check-ins

If you opt in to SMS check-ins, you consent to receive text messages from Kairos at the phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or adjust your preferences in Settings. Opting out of messaging does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, or use it to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your Data

You retain ownership of the health information you provide. Our collection and use of that information are described in our Privacy Policy. You may export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Kairos does not warrant that insights, estimates, or scores are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kairos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
